On March 18, 2021, the University of Luxembourg (Uni Lu) hosted a robot programming workshop as part of the Robotix Academy. A handful of students took the opportunity to teach a robot on site in the robotics lab.
The Robotix-Academy research assistants instructed the students and each student had the opportunity to move the robot in 2 or even 3 different coordinate systems. This involved moving the gripper along a straight line to a defined 3 D point.
The path planning work illustrated to the students how the internal force of the robot is limited once the sensors are activated and how they can control the TCP of the 2F gripper from three different poses.
