At the Digitaltag 2021 on Friday, June 18, everything was about digitization. In a livestream, the Saarland state government once again presented an extensive program as well as a virtual showcase of achievements around digitization “made in Saarland” Digitaltag Saarland 2021.
In the context of this Germany-wide day of action, ZeMA was able to give a brief insight into the Robotix-Academy and the Power4Production project. The Robotix-Academy supports companies in the greater region in robot applications ranging from sensitive robotics and intelligent robotics to human-robot cooperation. Power4Production is a cooperation with the German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence (DFKI) with a focus on intelligent production systems, where the human being is at the center.
Other digitization projects “made in Saarland” include the “Bitkom Smart School” (digital teaching), the “co:hub66” initiative as a creative space for cooperative work and start-ups, and the new cybercrime desktop, the “digital sniffer dog” of the Saarland police.
Outside of the state government livestream, Minister President Tobias Hans took part in an online talk by the Bitkom association regarding Digitaltag: He discussed the BSI’s location in Saarbrücken and the increasing importance of the topic of cybersecurity with the President of the Federal Office for Information Security (BSI), Arne Schönbohm.
