On April 11, representatives of the Grand Est region met in Strasbourg for a conference on innovation and transregional cooperation in the border region. The event was organized in the run-up to the “Innovation Day”, which is organized in the framework of the European INTERREG project Upper Rhine KTUR (Knowledge Transfer in the Upper Rhine).
About 50 participants from science, economy and politics, who support transregional cooperation along the border from Wallonia down to Switzerland, met with representatives from the Grand Est region. Aspects of technology and knowledge transfer in the context of climate change and Industry 4.0 were discussed.
Successful projects of cross-border cooperation in the fields of research, qualification and industry were presented. The Robotix Academy was also invited to present its research cluster for industrial robotics and to recommend itself as a best practice example for excellent research, technology transfer and cross-border cooperation.
