On May 14 and 15, the first Make-it.Saarland took place in the industrial park on Eschberger Weg around ZeMA and East Side Fab. East Side Fab is a supporting association that aims to promote new business ideas and existing companies in Saarland as part of an innovation network.
Young and old were given the opportunity to experience the latest technologies and trend topics up close and to try them out for themselves. Around 900 participants were able to learn about topics such as 3D printing, sustainability, programming and robotics on both days.
ZeMA also provided an insight into its halls, where many hands-on application examples were offered. In addition, visitors were encouraged to participate. In the Robotix Academy workshop entitled “Humans and Robots – The Dream Team”, interested participants were able to program their own small robot programs.
