On April 20 and 27, 2022, the competition “Program your robot” will take place.
With the help of Réjouiscience: the communication and popularization organ of the University of Liege, a robot programming contest is proposed to secondary school students. During this contest, teams of 3 students compete by trying to program the most tasks on the collaborative robot Sawyer. This robot can be programmed in blocks, which does not require any prerequisites. This competition allows to present the collaborative robots in a playful way, but also other points are approached. Thus, the different advances in industrial robotics are presented, as well as the activities of the laboratory (research, practical work, Robotix-Academy) and also the possible training courses to access the robotics professions.
