On Thursday, September 23, 2021 from 09:30 to 16:00, the Interreg VA Greater Region program cordially invites you to the Interreg Greater Region & Energy theme day: promoting cross-border cooperation in the field of renewable energy and energy efficiency.
More than ever, climate and environmental protection is crucial for the Greater Region and the European Union. During the event, the partners of the Interreg projects from the field of energy will present their project results and their added value for the territory of the Greater Region and its inhabitants. From this, we will draw important lessons for the future Interreg VI 2021-2027 program, which includes the energy transition and the fight against climate change among its main objectives for the 2021-2027 funding period.
A varied program is planned with project presentations from very different energy fields and an on-site visit of the project “GreENEFF”, as well as with interesting panelists such as Minister Anke Rehlinger, Minister for Economy, Labor, Energy and Transport of Saarland.
