On February 21, 2022, the project partners of the Robotix-Academy met with the Project Monitoring Committee (PBA) at the Umwelt-Campus Birkenfeld for their first project meeting 2022. Due to the partly still valid restrictions in the course of the Corona pandemic, the meeting took place as a hybrid event.
The Project Monitoring Committee (PBA) could see for themselves the implementation of the Interreg project Robotix-Academy so far and ask questions about the reporting year 2021.Special praise was given by Interreg for the successful implementation of the project actions as well as the achieved key figures 2021.
In the second pandemic year, the project partners of the Robotix-Academy also succeeded in advancing the project in terms of content and in stabilizing the project’s own formats such as the Robotix Lecture, the scientific conference RACIR, the Summer School or the Roadshow. Many of the events could be successfully carried out in the online format, also thanks to the good long-term cooperation of the project consortium.
The project is now in its final phase and ends in June 2022 after six and a half years of project duration. The project coordinator and the Project Monitoring Committee PBA were pleased with the partners of the Academy about the successful development of the research cluster: Many of the planned activities have now been realized and have become a permanent fixture in the Greater Region.
The Robotix Academy forms the organizational framework for the development of a cross-border research cluster in the field of industrial robotics and human-robot cooperation (HRC) in the Greater Region.
